The Kootenays are calling…..

It’s spring!

After a long Kootenay winter, it’s nice to air out the hiking boots and get moving on some solid dirt. However, when spring starts in the valleys, winter continues in the alpine for a long time.

West Kootenay Hiking is a free online hiking resource. You’ll find trail reviews, driving directions, topographic maps, photos, GPS files for download, and more! The site has almost 100 trails explored and is constantly expanding. Visitors can add trip reports with the latest information about trail and road conditions. Happy hiking!
