The snow line is creeping up over 1300m and that means that the shoulder-season hikes are opening up again!
After a winter of record snow, it’s taking a while for hiking trails to open up. But south-facing slopes like Pulpit Rock are already snow-free and ready to explore!
I’ve also heard that the snow is gone from some of the lakeshore hikes like Pilot Peninsula and Slocan-Evans Creek.
Happy hiking!
