Mount Crowe Snowshoe

A winter wonderland awaits! The snowshoe route up to Mount Crowe leads to amazing views along the ridge. It’s a little more adventure than exploring the day-use cabins below, so be prepared to route-find and break trail.

Trail Bluffs Loop

A scenic loop with some urban hiking! You’ll never be far from the industrial sounds of the City of Trail, but this loop ascends to wide views of the Columbia River Valley along the bluffs.

Mount Lepsoe Cabin Loop

A scenic snowshoe beneath Mount Lepsoe in the Rossland Range! This loop visits four cozy day-use cabins and winds steadily up through winter forests to beautiful views.

Mount Crowe Cabin Loop

A scenic tour of 4 cabins in the Rossland Range, circling beneath the slopes of Mount Crowe. This is a perfect snowshoe excursion or early-winter hike with cozy cabins and impressive distant views.

Mount Roberts

The trail up Mount Roberts starts easy and gets tough. But it also gets incredibly scenic! With big views of the Columbia River Valley and Seven Summits Range, it’s worth the effort to reach the summit and enjoy the panorama from the bench up there.

On Top of Old Glory

Trekked up to Old Glory with the Kootenay Mountaineering Club yesterday. Lots of wildflowers out along Unnecessary Ridge and the Seven Summits Trail, and just a few small patches of snow!

View on Plewman Trail

Today we tried to hike up Old Glory Mountain via the Plewman Trail. There was still a lot of snow on the trail, and when when got up to Unnecessary Ridge the view was socked in with cold mist blowing all around us. We turned back and hope to try again on a better day.
