Did you know? West Kootenay Hiking is a one-woman show! Abby Wilson is a local artist and mom who runs WKH as a very small business. She writes, edits, photographs, maps, troubleshoots and promotes to make this website the valuable resource it is today. Abby brings 10+ years of experience working in the tech industry to the project. Abby also volunteers with the Kootenay Mountaineering Club and organizes “plein air painting” events for local artists.
Your support helps pays for web hosting, equipment, trail mix, gas, but mostly importantly helps to fund Abby’s time working on West Kootenay Hiking.
